Corredor Associação Cultural runs an intensive Suzuki & Viewpoints workshop on São Miguel from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November: 18:30 to 21:30 on the 5th, 18:30 to 22:00 on the 6th, and 11:00 to 17:00 at the weekend. It covers two approaches to performance: the Suzuki Method of Japanese director Tadashi Suzuki and his company SCOT, built on physical discipline and stage presence, and Mary Overlie's Viewpoints, which trains spatial awareness and listening within an ensemble. A course for actors and drama students, not a show to watch.
On São Miguel; the listing names neither the venue nor the town, so ask Corredor Associação Cultural for the address when you sign up.
