Grande Rota das Flores (Etapa 2 Encerrada)

Flores coast to coast, the island's Great Route: Santa Cruz to Lajedo in two stages of 21 and 26 km. The first follows the north-east coast; the second crosses the lava fajãs of the west under a fossil cliff some 300 metres high, hung with waterfalls. Stage 2 is currently closed on the register. Hard, 47 km, eighteen hours.
