The third session of docAH, Angra do Heroísmo's international documentary film festival, screens Blur: To the End on Sunday 1 November at 21:00 in the Recreio dos Artistas on Terceira. Directed by Toby L., the 2024 British film follows the four members of Blur as they make and release The Ballad of Darren, their first album of new songs in eight years, and return to the stage in 2023. It moves between rehearsals, concerts and backstage moments, and is more about the friendship between the four than about the music business. The film runs 110 minutes. A good choice for a Sunday evening in Angra if you grew up on Britpop.
The Recreio dos Artistas is on Rua Recreio dos Artistas in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira, within walking distance of most central accommodation. Street parking in the old town is tight in the evening.
