Os Cavaleiros da Távola de Queijos bring their new show, Sou Pobre, mas não me Queijo, to the Teatro Ribeiragrandense in Ribeira Grande on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November, at 21:00 both nights. It is a run of new, original sketches that the group wrote, produced and performs itself. The comedy rests on Portuguese wordplay, the title is a cheese pun, so it is a good night out for anyone who follows spoken Portuguese, and a hard one for everyone else.
The theatre is in Ribeira Grande on São Miguel's north coast, across the island from Ponta Delgada; after a 21:00 show a car or a taxi is the practical way back.
