Depois das Máscaras is a performance from the Rodopio d'Ideias cultural project, staged at Museu Carlos Machado in Ponta Delgada on Saturday 21 November as part of the city's programme as Portuguese Capital of Culture 2026. It starts from the symbolism of masks to look at expression, identity and the different ways people represent themselves. Admission is free. The organisers say the time and venue are still to be confirmed, so check before you go. A low-cost way to see what the Capital of Culture year is putting on if you are in town that weekend.
Museu Carlos Machado is in central Ponta Delgada on São Miguel, walkable from the town centre; the venue is still subject to confirmation.
