Grande Rota de São Jorge (Este)

The eastern half of São Jorge end to end: the parish of Topo, on the island's eastern point, to Fajã dos Cubres on the north coast. It alternates between the inner plateau and the clifftops above the fajãs. The register splits it into stages of roughly 25 and 15 km and allows eleven and a half hours; wild camping is forbidden, so the night in between is booked in a village. Graded hard, 39.3 km.
