A short linear walk along the north coast from the hamlet of Bananeiras west to Anjos. It drops first to the Baía do Raposo, a geosite where two watermills still stand, then crosses the Barreiro da Faneca and its bare red clay. It finishes over Monte Gordo and down into Anjos, whose tiny chapel is probably the oldest Christian building in the Azores. Medium, 8.4 km, four hours.
