SATA Handling privatisation draws six non-binding bids
The bidders for the company that handles ground services at Azores airports will be named only after the deadline for binding bids.
SATA Holding has received six non-binding bids for SATA Handling, the company it is privatising. The deadline for non-binding bids ended on Wednesday 21 October.
According to SATA Holding, the bids will now be analysed and assessed under the terms set in the tender specifications. The selected bidders will then be invited to submit binding bids.
SATA Holding said it will disclose the identity of the bidders only after the deadline for binding bids has passed.
SATA Handling provides ground handling services at the airports of the Azores, according to Rádio Atlântida.
In September, this site reported that SATA handling unions announced strike periods over the privatisation.
