On Saturday 9 January the Montanha Pico Festival on Pico gives a session over to Azorean screen work. It opens with the presentation of the PAA, the Azorean audiovisual awards, followed by four short films shown in the islands for the first time: "Matéria Bruta" by Yuri Schuler and Guilherme Otsuka, "À Superfície" by Paulo Macedo with Abel Andrade, "Mormaço" by Leonor Xisto Fernandes and "The Last Round" by Tiago Soares.
