Rota da Água

A short there-and-back circuit in the Nasce Água area just outside Angra do Heroísmo, following the waterworks that supply the city. It starts at the ruins of five mills — of more than forty that once worked the Ribeira dos Moinhos — and climbs the south side of the Serra do Morião, the eastern rim of the Caldeira de Guilherme Moniz. Graded medium, 4.2 km, two hours.
