Baías da Agualva

An easy coastal walk on the north shore between Agualva and Quatro Ribeiras, mostly inside the Terceira Nature Park. It drops to the Alagoa da Fajãzinha geosite, an old bay silted up by the stream that runs into it and closed off by a pebble beach, then works west past small bays under cliffs of columnar basalt. Four kilometres, two hours.
