On Saturday 7 November at 18:00, Miguel Lopes leads a two-hour workshop of traditional dances from the Iberian Peninsula at Casa do Sal in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira. It is part of his World Traditional Dances series, which is back at the venue this month, and the focus this time is on popular dances still danced on both sides of the border between Portugal and Spain. No dance experience is needed. Places cost 10 €, or 8 € for members, and you register in advance through the organiser's form. Bring comfortable shoes. A relaxed, sociable way to meet people in Angra if you are staying on the island for more than a couple of days.
Casa do Sal is on Estrada Gaspar Corte-Real by the Prainha in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira, within walking distance of the old town.
