Praça Velha, the central square of Angra do Heroísmo on Terceira, marks St Martin's Day on Wednesday 11 November from 12:00 to 17:00. Fábio Ourique plays at 12:30 and the band Bahia Groove at 15:00, with stalls selling food and drink and others given over to crafts. Entry is free. If you are in Angra that day it costs nothing to drop by between sightseeing in the historic centre.
