Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande - Salto do Cabrito

A circuit from the hot springs at Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande to the Salto do Cabrito waterfall. It follows the penstock towards Lombadas, takes in the Fajã do Redondo dam, and passes the disused hydro plant before the waterfall and its steel ladder. Graded medium, 8.6 km, three hours; the thermal pools and restaurant are at the trailhead.
