Joana Albuquerque e Sousa's exhibition Raia Laia Faia runs on São Miguel from 28 November 2026 to 4 April 2027. Through sculpture and installation it looks at the relationship between architecture, the natural setting and island territory. The work came out of the artist's residency at Arquipélago, and the show is curated by Filipa da Rocha Nunes. If you are interested in how the Azores' built and natural surroundings shape each other, this is a more thoughtful companion to the island's viewpoints, and an indoor plan for a wet day.
