Ilhas Revisitadas is on show on São Miguel from 28 November 2026 to 28 February 2027. It marks a hundred years since Raúl Brandão published As Ilhas Desconhecidas, and grew out of an artists' residency and exchange between the two archipelagos. Curated by Hugo Olim, it brings together work by Joana Viveiros and Rosa Coutinho Cabral, who reread the islands' scenery and memories in a poetic register.
