FUSO INSULAR em Movimento: new Azorean video art

FUSO INSULAR em Movimento is a public screening in Horta, on Faial, on Friday 6 November, presenting new voices in Azorean video art. The videos come out of the Laboratório Imagem em Movimento, FUSO INSULAR's artist residency. Over three months Bianca Silveira, Cecília Cana, Lourenço Maçarico, Margarida Tomé Ribeiro, Paula Mota and Tomás Sampaio each developed their own project, mentored by João Onofre and André Laranjinha. The listing gives neither the venue nor the time. If you are in Horta and like contemporary art, it is a rare look at what young artists from the islands are making.
