The Silent Book Club meets again at the Biblioteca Municipal do Corvo on Thursday 29 October. Everyone brings a book of their own, reads in silence, and chats informally afterwards if they feel like it. Entry is free and there is no need to register. On an island as small as Corvo it is one of the few ways a visitor can spend an hour among residents, and a book in English is as welcome as any other.
Practical information
The library is in Vila do Corvo, the island's only village, so it is a short walk from anywhere you are staying.
