The fourth edition of A Hora da Barreta, a free course run by the Ecomuseu do Corvo to keep alive the know-how behind the barreta typical of the island. Sessions take place every Wednesday from 16:00 to 17:00, at the Casa da Memória and the Ecomuseu's multipurpose pavilion, and are meant to bring older and younger islanders together around the craft. It is a community class rather than a show, but if you are on Corvo on a Wednesday it is a rare chance to see a piece of the island's intangible heritage being handed on.
On Corvo, in Vila do Corvo, the island's only village, which is small enough to cross on foot. Corvo itself is reached by small plane or by boat from Flores.
